Gujarat Corona Updates: After One Day of Relief, Corona's Case Rises Again, More Recovery Than New Case For Sixth Day In a Row
Relief in the corona epidemic began in Gujarat from the day the state was established. But after May 9, the case has resurfaced today.
However, for the sixth day in a row, the number of patients recovering from the new case has been higher and a record-breaking 14,931 people have beaten the corona. In the last 24 hours, 11 thousand 592 new cases have been reported and 117 patients have died.
Thus, after a day's relief, a new case has been registered today. On May 9, 11084 cases were received.
For the last 11 days, more than 10,000 patients are being beaten by Corona every day in the state. As a result, the state's recovery rate has improved to 79.11 per cent.
2 lakh 7 thousand 700 were vaccinated
Today 2 lakh 7 thousand 700 have been vaccinated in the state. So far 1 crore 3 lakh 94 thousand 150 people have completed the first dose and 33 lakh 55 thousand 185 people have completed the second dose vaccination. A total of 1 crore 37 lakh 49 thousand 335 vaccinations have been completed.
Today, 29,817 people aged 18 to 44 were vaccinated with the first dose in the state. Also, a total of 35 thousand 180 persons over the age of 60 and 45 to 60 years have been vaccinated with the first dose and 1 lakh 32 thousand 466 persons have been vaccinated with the second dose. So far no one in the state has seen any serious side effects due to this vaccine.
1 lakh 36 thousand 158 active cases and 792 on ventilators
So far 6 lakh 92 thousand 604 reports have come positive in the state, while the death toll has gone up to 8 thousand 511. As many as 5 lakh 47 thousand 935 patients have been discharged so far. Speaking of active cases, there are 1 lakh 36 thousand 158 active cases in the state at present, out of which 792 patients are on ventilator, while 1 lakh 35 thousand 366 patients are in stable condition.
