Education Minister Waghani's Announcement: After 20 Months, Schools of Std. 1 to 5 Will Start offline From Tomorrow, attendance is not compulsory, consent of parents has to be sought.
The state government has taken an important decision for the education of primary school dropouts. Decided to start 1 to 5 direct teaching-offline classes. However attendance is optional.
Schools must adhere to Corona's guidelines. As well as for offline classes parents have to give consent form. Schools in the state were closed on March 15, 2020, the first year of the Corona transition. Thus, after 20 months, offline schools of standard 1 to 5 will start.

Announcing this at a press conference held at Circuit House, Surat, Education Minister and State Government Spokesperson Jitu Waghan said that the state government's effective work has resulted in a significant reduction in the global epidemic corona transition.
An important decision has been taken to start Std. 1 to 5 classes in schools. Appropriate decision will be taken in the near future for the education of kindergarten and anganwadi students.

સ્કૂલો અને વાલીઓએ આ બાબતોનું ધ્યાન રાખવું પડશે
- સ્કૂલ-કોલેજો શરૂ કરતાં પહેલાં દરેક સંકુલમાં સ્વચ્છતા-સફાઇ સુવિધા કરવી પડશે.
- વિદ્યાર્થીઓનું થર્મલ ગનથી ચેકિંગ, સેનિટાઇઝર અને હાથ ધોવા માટે સાબુની વ્યવસ્થાઓ સુનિશ્ચિત કરવાની રહેશે.
- વર્ગખંડોમાં અને શાળા-કોલેજ સંકુલમાં સોશિયલ ડિસ્ટન્સ જળવાવું જોઈએ. એટલું જ નહિ, માસ્કનો ફરજિયાત ઉપયોગ થવો જોઈએ.
- સ્કૂલ-કોલેજથી નજીકના અંતરે મેડિકલ સેવાઓ ઉપલબ્ધ હોય એની પણ ખાતરી કરવી પડશે.
- ભારત સરકારની SOPને અનુસરતાં રાજ્યમાં શાળા-કોલેજો દ્વારા જે ઓનલાઇન એજ્યુકેશન વ્યવસ્થા કરવામાં આવી છે એ યથાવત રહેશે.
- રાજ્યમાં આવેલી તમામ બોર્ડની બધી જ સરકારી, ગ્રાન્ટ ઇન એઇડ અને સેલ્ફ ફાઇનાન્સ સ્કૂલ, કસ્તુરબા ગાંધી બાલિકા વિદ્યાલય, સામાજિક ન્યાય અને અધિકારિતા વિભાગ તેમજ આદિ જાતિ વિકાસ વિભાગની શાળાઓને SOP લાગુ પડશે.
- આગામી 23 નવેમ્બરથી રાજ્યમાં ધો-9 થી 12ની સ્કૂલો તેમજ પી.જી, મેડિકલ-પેરામેડિકલ ઉપરાંત અંડરગ્રેજ્યુએટ ફાઇનલ યરના વર્ગો શરૂ થશે.
- બાકીનાં વર્ગો-ધોરણોનું શૈક્ષણિક કાર્ય શરૂ કરવા અંગે સમયાનુસાર યોગ્ય નિર્ણય લઇને સરકાર પછીથી જાહેરાત કરશે.
- સ્કૂલમાં વિદ્યાર્થીની હાજરી ફરજિયાત રાખવામાં આવી નથી.
- સ્કૂલે આવવા માટે વિદ્યાર્થીનાં માતા-પિતા કે વાલીની લેખિત સંમતિ પણ સંસ્થાઓએ મેળવવાની રહેશે.
- વિદ્યાર્થી પોતાનું માસ્ક, પાણીની બોટલ, પુસ્તકો, નાસ્તો વગેરે ઘરેથી જ લાવે અને અન્ય છાત્રો સાથે આપ-લે ન કરે એ જોવાનું પણ જણાવવામાં આવશે
- વર્ગખંડમાં રિવાઇઝડ બેઠક વ્યવસ્થા મુજબ બે વિદ્યાર્થી વચ્ચે ઓછામાં ઓછું 6 ફૂટનું અંતર રાખવું પડશે.
- સ્કૂલ-કોલેજ સંકુલમાં વિદ્યાર્થીઓની ભીડ ન થાય એ માટે વિદ્યાર્થીઓ તબક્કાવાર આવે તેવું આયોજન આચાર્ય-પ્રિન્સિપાલે ગોઠવવાનું રહેશે.
- આ હેતુસર રાજ્ય સરકારે ઓડ-ઈવન એટલે કે ધોરણ 9 અને 11 માટે અઠવાડિયામાં ત્રણ દિવસ અને 10 તેમજ 12 માટે ત્રણ દિવસ શાળામાં શિક્ષણકાર્ય થાય તેવી વ્યવસ્થા પણ જરૂરિયાત મુજબ ગોઠવવા જણાવ્યું છે.
- વિદ્યાર્થીઓ ક્રમાનુસાર અઠવાડિયામાં નિયત કરેલા દિવસોએ સ્કૂલમાં આવે અને બાકીના દિવસોમાં ઘરે બેઠા એસાઇન્મેન્ટ કરે તેવું આયોજન કરવા પણ સૂચવવામાં આવ્યું છે.
- સામૂહિક પ્રાર્થના–મેદાન પરની રમતગમત કે અન્ય સામૂહિક પ્રવૃત્તિ ન કરવા પણ સૂચના આપી છે.
- વાલીઓ તેમના વ્યક્તિગત ટ્રાન્સપોર્ટેશનનો જ ઉપયોગ બાળકને સ્કૂલે જવા-આવવા કરે, એ માટે પ્રોત્સાહિત કરવામાં આવશે.
- જે વિદ્યાર્થીઓ પબ્લિક ટ્રાન્સપોર્ટનો ઉપયોગ કરતા હોય તેમને પણ સ્કૂલ તરફથી સાવચેતી-સતર્કતાનું યોગ્ય માર્ગદર્શન અપાશે.
