Demands have been made by the school board to fill the vacancies of principals. With the new session going on in schools, there has been a demand for recruitment of principals.

Demand for Recruitment by Organizing HMAT Exam
A letter has been written by the school board to the chairman of the state examination board. In which it has been demanded to recruit by filling HMAT examination for the vacancies of 2000 principals in the grant aided, secondary schools of the state.

Examinations should be held every year as per the notification of the Department of Education dated 11/02/2011.
In 2019, only 50% of principals were recruited
Bhaskar Patel, president of the school board, said in a conversation with Divyabhaskar that the principals were recruited in 2019 but even then only 50 per cent of the principals were recruited.
As many as 1000 principals of that time and more than 2000 principals who have retired and died during the last 2 years are now vacant and HMAT examination should be conducted and recruited to fill the vacancies.
