Latest Circular Regarding Periodic Test Planning for Std. 6 to 8 Students in September
According to the above subject and context, periodic assessment test was conducted for the students of Std. 6 to 8 in every medium in the primary schools in the month of July and August with the objective of assessment along with home learning during COVID 19 period.
You are requested to take further action from your level in view of the following matters regarding the test to be taken in the month of September.
ગુજરાતી Gujarati and Maths tests will be taken in Std. 8 and 9. Gujarati, English and Hindi will be tested in Std. 6 while Gujarati, English, Hindi and Sanskrit subjects will be tested in Std. 6 to 8.
It is to be noted here that as per the resolution dated 12-02-2020 of the education department, similar tests are to be taken in Gujarati (first language), mathematics, social science and science subjects. This time the tests for the subjects in addition to these four subjects can be taken voluntarily by the self-funded and subsidized schools.
The above periodic evaluation tests dt. It will be held from 9th to 20th September. By 8/02/2030, the students will have to deliver the tests in hardcopy or softcopy. Ta. Tests of your medium will be made available on GCERT's website (www.gcert.gujarat.gov.in) on 9/08/2050 as well as Gujarati medium test which can also be seen in the QR Code on the subject textbook index.
The above tests are expected to be written from home under the supervision of the parent and the student at the convenience of the student.
The purpose of the test is to know the progress of the student. It is desirable that the students give the test in a fear-free and stress-free environment.
Test answer book Dat. It is desirable that it be delivered to the school through parents by 09/10/2050.
Wherever there is a test of Gujarati in Gujarati medium, the first language test of that medium will be taken in other medium.
Where there is a test of Hindi in Gujarati medium, Gujarati (second language) will be tested in Hindi medium.
Where there is English test in Gujarati medium, Gujarati (second language) test will be taken in English medium.
The test will be prepared keeping in view the learning outcome. The syllabus taken in the month of July in the Gujarati and Mathematics subject test will not be included in the September test.
