 Gujarat Coronavirus Red Zone Orange Zone and Green Zone List 

Gujarat State is the third worst hit state with COVID-19 after neighbouring Maharashtra and Tamil nadu. The state has so registered nearly 8683 Coronavirus cases through the state with high death toll of 555 as on 18th May 2020.

   In the last few weeks, Gujarat has seen rapid rise in the number of COVID-19 cases, especially in Hotspots or Red Zone areas. To further contain the spread of the disease, the state government has adopted aggressive cluster containment measures especially in metropolitan areas of Ahmedabad and Surat .

  As part of this strategy, the state has been divided into Red, Orange and Green Zones districts, on the basis of the number of cases being detected.

Intensive work is being carried out by the state government to fight Corona. In order to meet the effects of Corona virus COVID-19 as well as to speed up the prevention and control of the disease in accordance with the Epidemic Diseases Act, 18 under the Epidemic Diseases Act, 13, this department number NCP-102020-SFS1 dated 19/06/2040.

"Corona Updates  Gujarat Epidemiological Regulation, 2020" has been implemented in the state through the declaration.  As per the guidelines of the Government of India, the state government has declared the districts of the state into red, orange and green zones. Areas of Orange and Red Zone districts of the state have also been classified as containment, buffer zones.

On the basis of which the Special Commissioner (Health) has submitted to the Government a compiled list of containment areas of 6 districts and 05 Municipal Corporation areas.

In view of which the area indicated by the districts / corporations as per the attached form is declared as containment area.
