The Final Result of the Combined Competitive Examination (Main) for the recruitment to the posts of Deputy Section Officer (State Secretariat), Deputy Section Officer (Gujarat Public ServiceCommission), Deputy Section Officer (Vidhansabha) and Deputy Mamlatdar (Revenue Department), Class-III (Advertisement No. 55/2018-19) for which written-descriptive examination was held on 19-May-2019 and 26-May-2019 was
declared vide Notification annexed with Annexure-1 (Part-I and Part-1) dt.13.09.2019.
Consequent upon receiving the applications for rechecking of marks from the list of
successful and unsuccessful candidates listed respectively at Part-I and Part-ll of the
Annexure- I1, scrutiny of the answer-books was conducted by the Commission and it is
observed that
a. in evaluation process of Sub-Question No. XII of Question No.8 of Paper-2 pertaining to English Grammar, the applied answer key was erroneous and same was required to be rectified.
Accordingly, the rectification process was conducted by applying the correct answer key. Resultantly, the marks in Paper-2 were
revised in many cases either by increased with 1 mark or decreased with 1 mark
This has also revised the Final aggregate marks (total marks) of the candidates in
the exam, accordingly their merit order stands changed.
b. In another case of rechecking of answer-sheet of candidate bearing Roll No.
101051352, it is observed that due to technical error in reading of the barcode of
pages of the answer-sheet for Paper-1V. pages of Question No. 14 & 15 were
skipped from evaluation process hence the same was required to be corrected by
applying the rectification process resulted into addition of 3 marks of that
answer-sheet.
3.The Commission has also received the application along with attachments and pertinent documents from one candidate bearing Roll No. 120245025 belonging to Ex-Serviceman category to confirm his Ex-serviceman category. Consequent upon scrutiny conducted with pertinent documents submitted by the candidate, his category of Ex-serviceman is
confirmed. Hence, the candidate who was previously incorporated in the list of Ineligible
