Online applications are invited for the vacancies of Rajkot Municipal Corporation. The candidate has to log-in at www.rmc.gov.in and apply through the recruitment section. Also, the fee has to be paid only through online mode.

Eligibility Criteria : -

1. Graduate from any discipline of a recognized university.
2. Candidates who have obtained at least 50% marks out of the total marks of the examination in the last year of the discipline in which they have graduated (all semesters during the last year of the graduation course if studied in the semester system) and have passed the examination on the first attempt. Will have to take.
3. Must have computer related qualifications prescribed by the Government from time to time.
4. For data entry work in English Gujarati, computer typing should have a minimum speed of 5000 (Hour on key depression) / 15 minutes on WPM word). (Speed ​​with Accuracy)

Salary Scale :-

Fixed salary for five years is Rs. 19950/- and after five years of satisfactory service, considering the space requirement, pay matrix, level-2, Rs. 19900-63200/- will be considered as per the seventh pay commission.

Age Limit :-18 to 30 years

Computer Knowledge:- As per the provision of Rule-8 (1) of Gujarat Civil Service Classification and General Rules of Recruitment-1967, a certificate of having basic knowledge of computer application has to be submitted. Resolution No. 13/08/2008 of the General Administration Department of the Government: CRR-10-2007-1203 20-C.4. 
The syllabus shown in accompanying Form-1 is declared as Basic Knowledge of Commuter. Candidate should have adequate knowledge of Gujarati and Hindi.

Citizenship:-Candidates for admission in the examination are 
(a) Citizens of India or 
(b) Citizens of Nepal 
(c) Citizens of Bhutan or 
(d) Exiles of Tibet who came to India before 01/01/1962 with the intention of permanent residence in India or 
(f) Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka and East Countries in Africa - Kenya, Uganda, Vietnam, Zambia, Malawi, Zer, Ethiopia, United, Republic of Tanzania Will be eligible for appointment only if obtained. Candidate for this post should be a native of Gujarat State and domicile of Gujarat State.

Important Tips to Consider When Applying Online:-

The details filled in the online application form by the candidate will be considered final for the entire recruitment process and the proof will have to be submitted in original (including certified copies) when requested by Rajkot Municipal Corporation.
If there is a change or discrepancy in the details and evidence filled in the online application form during the verification, the candidature will be considered void.
Non-reserved and non-reserved women candidates will have to deposit Rs.500. 
This application fee will be accepted only through online / net banking. After paying the application fee, the candidate can submit his application no. And transaction ID. 
To be preserved. Refund will not be given after payment of application fee. 
Applications without payment of fees will be eligible for cancellation. Candidates who do not pay the application fee will not be allowed to sit in any of the written examinations / screening tests / oral interviews as per the procedure prescribed by the Appointing Officer.
The candidate has to keep more copies of the passport size photograph which he has uploaded in the online application form and submit the same photograph at the time of recruitment process (written examination / interview / etc.).
If any candidate applies for more than one post, Rajkot Municipal Corporation will have the power to decide on the cancellation of their application / applications.
Age, qualifications and related matters will be considered valid on the last date of acceptance of online application.
If the grade is indicated in the marksheet, degree certificate, then the conversion table of the recognized university in its equivalent percentage will have to be submitted.
An employee on duty in Rajkot Municipal Corporation will have to submit the last month's pay slip at the time of verification of original certificates. In addition, if more than one position has been filled, a copy of the promotion or selection order must be submitted
The candidate of the reserved caste has been given by the competent officer of the Government as per the pattern prescribed by the Government of Gujarat regarding his caste (Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, S.S.P. Certificate must be submitted.
In case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Socio-Educational Backward Classes and Economically Weaker Classes (Ews / BAV) who are originally from Gujarat, a relaxation of five (5) years will be given in the upper age limit.
On the basis of the above caste certificate issued by a state other than the state of Gujarat, no benefit will be eligible for the reserve.
As per the rules, women candidates will be given a relaxation of five (5) years in the upper age limit.
Whether the candidate of reserved caste of native Gujarat has to apply on reserved seat or non-reserved seat? It has to be clearly stated in the online application form and if the candidates of the reserved caste of native Gujarat apply for the non-reserved seat, then the applicable rules and regulations will apply to the candidates for the reserved seat.
The subsequent change of category will not be accepted in the caste (category) indicated by the candidate in the online application.

For Socially and Educationally Backward Class Candidates:-

Candidates are not included in the advanced class in addition to the caste certificate, the date of the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment. Appendix-A or dated as prescribed by resolution dated 06/02/1996. The certificate as per Appendix-4 prescribed by the resolution dated 27/04/2017 has to be submitted.
The married woman candidate has to get such certificate only on the basis of her parents' income. If such candidates have submitted such a certificate on the basis of their husband's income, they will not be entitled to the benefit of the reserve. 
Annexure-A certificate issued in English instead of Appendix-A or Appendix-4 will not be considered valid. If a candidate has not submitted the certificate of prescribed form issued within the stipulated period, his application will be considered invalid and he will not be considered even against the unreserved space.
Dt. Of Social Justice and Empowerment Department. No. 26/04/2016: 122015/45526 / A and the candidate should have a certificate that he does not belong to the advanced class given by the competent authority as per the resolution of the Government from time to time in this regard.
Note :- Subject to the provisions of Resolution of the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment: Sashap / 122015/455246 / A, dated 12/06/2020. 01/04/2016 to 31/03/2017 and Dated from 01/04/2017. Non Creamy Layer Certificate issued during 31/03/2018 will also be considered valid but with the certificate issued during this period, the candidate should be in his "Non Creamy Layer status".
No change has been made and they are eligible as per the eligibility criteria prescribed by the State Government for the purpose of reservation. The guarantee form has to be given in the prescribed form from the appendix with the above resolution.
The benefit of reserve for misuse of provision is revocable and the candidate is subject to legal action so that the candidates are asked to study all the provisions of the aforesaid resolution before availing the extended period from 01/04/2016 to 31/03/2017. And a certificate regarding non-inclusion in the advanced class issued between 01/04/2017 to 31/03/2018 (Non Creamy Layer certificate).

For candidates from economically weaker sections:-

Candidates from economically weaker sections should apply for the post of Social Justice and Empowerment Department of the State Government. Certificate of Eligibility obtained in the prescribed form (Annexure KH in English or Appendix-C in Gujarati) from Resolution No .: EWS / 122010/45903 / A dated 25/01/2019 (i.e. Certificate meaning they fall under EWS Category) No. and date should be shown while applying online and should be submitted when requested by Rajkot Municipal Corporation.

Note :- Resolution No. : EWS/ 122019 /45903 / A, Dt. Of Social Justice and Empowerment Department. Eligibility Certificates for Economically Weaker Classes (EWS) will be valid for three years from the date of issue as per the provision of 26/06/2020. But Ta. Dated from 25/01/2018. In order to avail the extended period of EWS Certificate issued till 12/09/2019, the candidate has to give a guarantee that he has not increased his family income and qualifies as per the eligibility criteria prescribed for the purpose of reserve by the State Government. Candidate has to submit this guarantee along with the certificate at the time when Rajkot Municipal Corporation requests EWS certificate. The benefit of reserve for misuse of this provision is void and the candidate is liable for legal action. Candidates are asked to study all the provisions of the said resolution before availing the extended period. Ta. Dated from 25/01/2018. The extended period of EWS certificate issued till 12/09/2019 has to be guaranteed.
If a woman candidate wants to apply in the name of her husband instead of her father, she will have to submit a copy of the marriage registration at the time of verification of the original certificates.
It is mandatory for the candidate to write his mobile number in the appropriate place in the online application form which can be used to send a message about future recruitment. Rajkot Municipal Corporation will not be responsible for the message not reaching the candidate who has not written the correct mobile number.
No written correspondence will be sent to the candidates regarding the recruitment process for the above posts which should be noted. Submission to change the written examination center and venue of the candidate under any circumstances will not be accepted.
