Circular Regarding Admission Of Students From Other Boards Of India Except Gujarat Regarding Admission In Std-11
Dt. 01/03/2050, 3. With the approval of the Government obtained on the single file here, according to the above subject and context, to state that after passing Std-10 or its equivalent examination from other state or other board of India, G.M. And necessary instructions have been given to give admission to the students who want to get admission in Std-11 in the school registered by U.M.S. Board as per the circular of reference-1. The circular was accompanied by a list of total 6 boards with equivalents in the enclosure.
For students of other boards entering Std-11 in the above circular of Reference-I It has been stated to give admission in standard-11 in recognized schools.
According to the representations received by the office here regarding the above matter, according to the circular of Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board dated 01/09/2050, students from other boards have passed Std. 10 only with compulsory Mathematics, Science, English and Social Science subjects. 11 can be admitted.
Students who have passed Std-10 with Mathematics, Science and English but have not passed Std-10 with Social Science subject cannot get admission. Therefore, they are requested to get admission in Std 11.
As per the approval of the Government obtained on the single file of the office here regarding the above matter, in the situation of Kovid-12, in the interest of the students only for the academic year 2020-21, the circular dated 01/03/2050 is amended as follows.
Students who have not passed Std-10 with other subjects equivalent to Gujarat Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education with Std-10 Social Science subject but have passed Std-10 with Mathematics, Science and English as well as other subjects. Only for -21 will be able to get admission in Std-11 in the schools recognized by Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board.
As per the Board's circular dated 01/02020, Gujarat students of other boards having equivalent to Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board have passed Std-10 with Mathematics, Science, English and Social Science subjects as per the subject structure of Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board. The matter of getting admission in Std. 11 in the schools recognized by the Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education will be implemented from the academic year 2021-1. "
The other instructions given in the circular dated 01/03/2050 will remain the same. With the approval of the District Education Officer, the students who want to get admission in Std. Admission can be given till 15/12/2020.
