At the end of careful consideration, the following instructions are decided to organize the examinations for the state college / university and to start the admission process and academic work for the next academic year 2020-61.
Students of Intermediate Semester 2, 3, 4 (when Semester 2 is Intermediate Play) have to be given Merit Based Progression and students have been asked to refund the examination fee.
Therefore, in case of Merit Based Progression, the examination fee for that semester will have to be paid as the next semester examination. Or if for some other reason he cannot come to the examination center
Special examination for students will be held in the month of August / September. The marks of this special examination will be shown in the marksheet as regular marks.
Some courses like B.Ed., LL.B., B.Lib, etc. are run. Which is really UG. Of course. But admission to these courses is given only after graduation. For such courses, as per the recommendation of the Chancellor, an examination like PG has to be conducted.
Due to lockdown, some students are moving to other districts / states and abroad to their hometowns. They are more likely to be inconvenienced if they are called back for exams only. Thus, the exams of foreign students have to be held online and the exams of students from other states can also be held online so that one does not have to move only for the exams.
In addition, some universities like GTU, Gujarat University etc. have students from all over the state and they stay and study in hostels. For such students also, universities will have to plan to have examination centers at every district level in Gujarat for the convenience and self-protection of students.
Apart from this, other instructions given by the parallel resolution of the education department dated 3/06/2050 will remain the same. By order of the Governor of Gujarat and in his name
