Indian Railways Decided To Start Passenger Railway From 12th May
There is good news for people trapped across the country due to the lockdown. Indian Railways will start booking train tickets from today. Tomorrow, i.e. from Tuesday.
15 Special trains will run from the capital Delhi. Online ticket booking for this train will take place on Monday at 4 p.m.
Everyone going home will have a thermal screening and only those who are completely healthy will be allowed to go home.

Which train will go?
On the first day, i.e. on 12th May, a total of 15 special trains will run from the capital Delhi. In the first phase for 15 destinations, special trains will be operated from New Delhi to Dibrugarh, Agartala, Patna, Bilaspur, Ranchi, Bhubaneswar, Secunderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Thiruvananthapuram, Madgaon, Mumbai Central, Ahmedabad and Jammu-Tawi.
When and how to get a ticket?
Tickets for the first phase will be booked on Monday i.e. this evening from 4 p.m. To get a train ticket, one has to login to IRCTC's website or its mobile app and get a ticket.
Railways has clarified that tickets for these trains can only be booked from the IRCTC's website (https://www.irctc.co.in/) or from the mobile app to the individual user's account. Tickets cannot be deducted for this through an agent. If You don't have IRCTC account , then you can't book a ticket. So first of all you should make IRCTC account.

What is the fare of special train?
These special trains will have the same fare as the capital. The reason is that all the trains will have only AC coaches. It will have a direct impact on the passenger's pocket. Any passenger who needs to travel during the lockdown will have to spend more money.
How to get home with less money?
Laborers, workers and others in need need not worry. The railways clarified that the workers' special trains will continue to run as before and the workers will reach their destination without paying the fare. Tickets like Tatkal or Premium Tatkal will not be available in it. This means you have to get a ticket on time in any case. Don't rely on extra money to get instant tickets.
The train will not stop everywhere
Special trains will not have pantry car facilities. These trains will only stop at limited stations to reach the destination quickly and save the economy.
Entry will be available on the platform only after screening
The railways have made it clear with the launch of the train that every possible effort will be made to stop the corona. Railways said the passenger would be required to wear a mask and a health check-up at the point of departure. Only people with no symptoms of the virus will be allowed on the train.
