From the evening of May 28 to the evening of May 29, 372 new cases have been reported in the state and 20 have died while 608 patients have recovered.
A total of 15,944 cases have been reported so far and the death toll has risen to 980 while 8,609 patients have recovered and returned home.
How many new cases in which district
The number of new cases registered per district in the state is 253 in Ahmedabad, 45 in Surat, 34 in Vadodara, 8 in Gandhinagar, 7 in Mehsana, 7 in Chhota Udepur, 4 in Kutch and 2 in Navsari while Banaskantha, Rajkot, Aravalli, Panchmahal, Mahisagar, Kheda, Bharuch, Sabarkantha, 1-1 new cases have been reported in Valsad, Junagadh, Surendranagar and other states. Out of a total of 15,944 cases, 68 patients are on ventilator and 6,287 are stable. So far, 8,609 patients have recovered and 980 have died.
A total of 2,01,481 tests in the state, 9414.65 tests per million so far in Ahmedabad city
In addition to patients coming to various hospitals in the state, a total of 2,01,481 tests have been conducted so far as per the guidelines of ICMR. While 9414.65 tests per million have been done in Ahmedabad city so far. Corona is currently being tested in 31 labs in the state, of which 19 are government labs and 12 are private.
For the last 31 days, more than 300 cases of corona have been reported daily in the state and more than 250 in Ahmedabad
