Private School Teachers' Attendence Will Be Filled Up Online || Letest Paripatra Date : 06/12/2019

Gujarat State Education Department has decided to extend its online attendance system to cover private schools.

Earlier, the online attendance system was implemented for government and grant-in-aid schools by the department earlier on and has seen positive results from effective implementation.

Currently, over 75% schools have started using the online attendance system and have started uploading the attendance data online on the central portal.

After the implementation of online attendance system, attendance of both school teachers and students will be marked online to ensure tabulation of data on an easy manner.

Days after the education department issued a circular stating that aided and government schools should file data regarding online attendance of students in Std I to Std XII and teachers be uploaded to a government database, the department has stated that private schools across the state will also have to do the same from the second week of August.

District Education Officer (DEO City) has already sent across a circular seeking information from private schools to enter the data which will then be added to the Unified District Information System for Education (U-DISE).

However, an official circular will be issued after the completion of data collection and entry, by the Education Department, Gandhinagar in order to start online attendance of teachers and students in private schools.
