Generally, there is a public holiday in schools on the day of Muharram. But on the completion of 3 years of the new education policy, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to address the school students tomorrow on Saturday, keeping in mind that the state education department has decided to continue the schools even on the public holiday of Muharram. After the central government's notification, the state education department has released the circular today.

The education department has issued a circular and instructed the primary and secondary schools of the state to continue tomorrow even on the day of Muharram. PM Modi will address the students tomorrow to mark the completion of 3 years of the new education policy which mandated schools to remain open even on the public holiday of Muharram.

The decision of the state education department after the notification of the central government

The All India Shiksha Samagam has been organized by the Ministry of Education, Government of India in collaboration with the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship to mark the completion of three years of the National Education Policy on 29 and 30 July 2023. Considering the national importance of this programme, various activities have been organized across the country.

All government, aided and private secondary and higher secondary schools of the state have been asked to organize live webcasts of all sessions tomorrow on July 29 from 9 am to 12 pm.
